I’m a 29-year-old Dutch photographer driven by a deep passion for wildlife. My first real experience with capturing the beauty of Africa began when I was 18. I took a trip to South Africa, and there I fell in love with the rhythm, the dust, the light, and the quiet intensity of the wildlife.

Over the years, my time in the wild has evolved my work from simply documenting animals to trying to capture their individual character. I focus on intimate encounters that make you feel part of the moment.

On this space I want to share my favorite work, the shots that make me go back to the moment, feeling the experience of being a witness to the animal. I hope you feel a similar connection to nature when looking at the animal portrait, bringing a part of Africa into your everyday life.
